I posted a similar thread after leaving my REG exam. Now that the scores release date is here I figured I’d prepare myself just in case.

Currently I am 2 chapters deep (45 hours) in BEC. I took REG July 8th so only 4 weeks ago.

If I do not pass REG on the first shot, should I jump back in while it is somewhat fresh or continue BEC and hit REG after BEC.

yes jump back in asap, you don't want to forget all the material and have to start from scratch.

BEC-passed on 2nd attempt
AUDIT- need a rematch
REG-passed on 1st attempt
FAR-schedule 10/2/14

I would suggest going right into it again, after I failed reg I was half way through audit and continued on before my retake.

When I failed BEC it was much easier to go straight into it again.

I would finish studying for BEC and take it in August. You can't retake REG until October anyways.

That is what i'm thinking Gatorgirl. I'd be able to go back and review my weaknesses and test early Oct on REG again. Can't in september due to blackout and can't in August do to baby due on 19th…

I'm facing the same type of problem. I just sat for REG, and I will be three weeks into studying for FAR before I get my REG score. If I don't pass, I will just drop FAR and restudy for REG because what If I studied for FAR and then didn't pass? Then I really would be mad.

2 months is going to be a very long time to see all of that REG information again and not get lazy with retaining it. However, in whatever fashion it may take, knock out REG as soon as the window opens in October.

How about this scenario… you squashed REG and you're already 2 chapters deep into BEC and ready to slam that one in October.

@Austin_109 that is my exact plan! haha I said the same thing.. The wait is too long! How did you feel walking out of the testing center for the REG exam that you just took? I felt that I knew a lot on it.. maybe because it was my 3rd attempt, but now I am stressing that I may have bombed it because it went so smooth for me.

It was my first section I have ever taken, and to be honest I don't feel that good about my chances. I knew the Becker material pretty well, but I tried to look up six or so questions I knew that I guessed on and they were not even covered in Becker, and then how the Sims went is anybody's guess. I'm just hoping I did enough to get a 75. If you think it went pretty smoothly, then I think you have a good shot at passing!

You can't retake REG *until* October, since you've already taken REG this window.

Yes. I wouldn't be able to take it in August anyway due to birth of baby and Sep is closed. 2 extra months of review for REG i would crush it.
