I switched over to Foxfire today due to the security issues with Internet Explorer. I tried to log into the Online System on the Illinois website and received the following warning:

This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect securely to vo.ilboa.org, but we can’t confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site’s identity can’t be verified.

What Should I Do?

If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn’t continue.

Is anyone else having this problem? I want to be able to check my FAR score on Saturday. I just sent the help desk an email but I am worried that I will not be able to log in.

I too am using Firefox as a precaution. I know for a fact IE does recognize the Illinois Board of Examiners Certificate, but perhaps this is something Firefox has trouble recognizing. As a suggestion, ask your IT Dept. (if employed) or stop by your local Big Box technology store.

Microsoft released a security fix last night that I applied to my system and now I am back on IE.

Yes, NINJA notes were very helpful for FAR and BEC. They were the final notes I looked at before the test and earned me some easy points. I especially like the partnership notes in FAR. CPAExcel reviews partnership accounting under REG so reading Ninja FAR notes gave me just the right summary before taking FAR. I did not use them for AUD as it was my second test (passed on first try) and I had not found another71.com yet. I found this site when Jeff offered free access to Ninja notes on a LinkedIn CPA group.
