I recently passed all four exams and submitted my CPA license application with the IDFPR at the beginning of July. They told me that it would take 6-8 weeks to process the application (8 weeks would have been last week). When I called to get an update on the status of my application, they stated that they were backlogged and that when they actually begin processing my application, it will be 6-8 weeks from when the get to it as opposed to 6-8 weeks from when they received it. I feel as if I’m getting a lot of excuses. Has anyone recently gone through the IDFPR process and/or experienced anything similar? Thank you for your feedback!
