   pls anybody who can enlighten me on how the rules for becoming a registered cpa applies? must i transfer from california to illinois to complete this process. i have passed the cpa exams and need to know b4 the expiration dATE...PLS HELP!!!!!

   Register before 6/30/12 because IL is going to a 1-tier state...registered CPA will not be available to new applicants after that date.

   PLS WHEN u transfer credit does it mean the original state removes u frm the list of thr candidates .....that is if u dont get approved then u are in limbo and dont belong anywhere since u have transferred all yr credits and wont have any to go back to? hope this ques wasnt too confusing...pls help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

   I have no idea about switching states. I would assume your prior state would keep your name in good standing.
