Illinois License Question

I have a question regarding applying for a license in Illinois..I passed the exam last year and started working in October at a public accounting firm. I currently have a tempting job offer outside of public accounting, does anyone know if I would still be able to apply for the license in October with the year of experience being in two different companies? Would I have to wait a year at the new company to have that employer sign off on my year of experience?

Any information regarding the year of experience requirement would be very helpful! I have tried looking on the website but find it not very clear, thanks!

You should be able to. It shouldn't matter if that is from more than one employer. Also it can be from a company outside of public accounting. I have never worked in public accounting and my work experience was accepted.

Damn you vile CPA! Victory shall be mine.
