Illinois Licensing Process

    Question about Licensing in Illinois. Do you have to get a CPA certificate from the ILBOE before you can submit a licensing application? If so, when do you receive this certificate after you pass the exam?

    Also, I have yet to complete the ethics exam, which I will be taking tonight. How long until the board receives that score?

    AUD- 86
    FAR- 79
    BEC- 83
    REG- 87

    You don't have to have the physical certificate but you do need to wait til you get emailed your certificate number.
