I'm I being paranoid? Should I apply to other firms

I had a phone interview with an EY recruiter, about 3 weeks ago. He told me that he wasn’t sure I would “work out” at EY since I didn’t sound very enthusiastic. I told him to get me in front of the managers so they could see my passion face-to-face.

This week I got a call from a Senior Manager in the office I’m interested in. I think it was the best interview I’ve had and she was laughing all through. Told me she’ll contact the recruiter so he sets up the office visit. It’s been 4 days now, nothing from them.

    1. I’m I being too impatient/paranoid? I’ve waited a month before but this time I’m just having a bad feeling for some reason.

    2. Should I apply to other Big 4 or focus on this single application?

    Thanks (Mr. Paranoid)

I think its silly to wait when you can and should be getting your resume out there. Sure, EY may get back to you and they may be your first choice but unless you either have a job you're happy at or don't need to work I can't imagine waiting for just one company to get back to me.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

You should ALWAYS apply to as many firms as possible – nothing to lose, possibly something to gain…..

And #1 is a tough question…..Maybe give it a week and then follow up?

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
    California CPA since 1/30/14

You're right… I'll get myself out there. I specifically would like the Big 4, to become a slave and learn as much as I can, since right now I don't have family/kids… and what not. I'll hit up PWc again. Seems they only respond if you're either experienced or have a referral, and now I have both.
