I just need to rant. Like I am so tired. Studying while working full-time is NOT the business (yes, I know many people do it). I’m very grateful to my work that my manager is SO nice that she allows me to study during work.

But I am so tired. My test is in 2 days. I’ve done probably a combined total 1400 from Rogers, 700 from NINJA, and 800 from WTB MCQs. I think I’m averaging around 70-75. I am so MCQ’d out…. I’ve done about 60+ sims too. I just want a 75. But I hate stockholder’s equity so much. Like I am so sure that I will be screwed if they gave me a sim on this because it is NOT absorbing. APIC-R/E/-T/S-C/S, Why can’t it just be one?!

This nuisance of BEAST for FAR has only left me 26 days to study for REG (with full-time work). I’m kind of not too worried because it’s just REG and it’s tax and I’ve done taxes before. Studying for REG will totally be more bearable than studying for FAR. But heavens, I do not want to study for FAR again…… I just want a 75.

Same boat.. I hate certain topics in FAR too. Totally understandable. No one would like to tackle FAR for the second time if one can choose! It is just too much and overwhelming. Best of Luck!

@Skynet, I would have bought AUD if it weren't for the recommendation of my previous audit coworkers. I think studying for AUD in 26 days is doable. But I have to do it for REG. 🙁

I want to cry, now that my “break” from studying for busy season is coming to an end, and I'll have to face the FAR material for a third time. Completely understand the feelings @hasy!

If you're exhausted of the material and hate it and want it to die, then its probably working! With 2 days left I'd say go until you drop today and then just light review tomorrow. Be rested and strong for the test, I agree with @monikernc in the sense that studying really hard the day before the exam may do more harm than good.

And just FYI, I'm studying for REG right now and I wouldn't take it too lightly. I work in tax and I can tell you that “some knowledge” of tax isn't going to give you that much of an advantage, this stuff is hard and takes a ton of practice. But good luck on FAR this weekend!

I hit my “wall” today– I'm on the last two sections of Rogers (Governmental and Non-profit) and I just can't get my brain motivated to cram anything else in there. I am just SICK OF IT…

And they ask me why I drink

    BEC 71, 82
    AUD 75
    REG 75
    FAR 61, 69, 83

and they ask me why I drink...

FAR- 61-next time I'll ask for lube instead of a calculator
REG-75- Never been so happy to see such a low grade
    BEC- 8/11
    AUD- 9/2

    REG - 83, 12/2015 (first try)
    AUD - 84, 03/2015 (first try)

Thank you everyone. It's nice to know I ain't alone.

@mckan514w, Are you sure it's last section? The last chapter in Roger's is consolidations. (Not trying to be smart) Though really, NFP is not that bad. It was very nice to know that the material wasn't that overwhelming. Gov't isn't that bad either as people say. Accrual – expense, modified accrual – expenditures. You either spend it this year or you get budget cuts next year.
