Imminent Failure

Maybe my chances aren’t as a bleak as I think they are… but to summarize – work was crazy (which I guess is typical for the Finance/Accounting related work force) and I fell way behind in REG.

I only finished reading the material a few days ago (that does not include Business Law) and have taken a few quizzes. I started re-reading the sections and taking notes, but it is much too time consuming. Here I am on the eve of the exam and I have basically resigned myself to re-reviewing the six sections I have spent a decent amount of time on and hitting a couple other sections I expect to see questions on. I am more or less going to hope for the best on business law (which I know is a pretty disadvantaged position to go into the test with) and pray for a favorable mix of questions.

I just don’t understand how four weeks can go by so quickly. It is frustrating… but hopefully I can eek out a miracle, and at the very worst I will retake sometime in January. Work should be a lot less demanding during December. It seems like half the team is out. Anyways. I needed to vent a little, but now it is time to spend a full day on REG. Good luck tomorrow everyone. Hopefully everyone does well and is either finishing their journey tomorrow, beginning it, or gaining a head full of steam going into the next part.

You can still cover a lot of ground in a day – don't give up yet! I'd advise ditching the notes at this point, but you should be able to do a lot of reading (which it sounds like is your plan) or MCQs (whichever is your best study method) with a day to devote to it…and whatever you learn today will be fresh in your mind tomorrow. There's still hope! 🙂

I'd advise spending the day on blaw if you haven't touched it.
