I’m a first time poster and I’ve been reviewing for BEC for the past week. My test date is July 5th, and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a ranking of the different chapters that BEC covers, in terms of importance to pass the Exam. Thanks!

if you have Becker, it shows you the weighted % importance in the introduction. if you don't, go here:

What items fall under strategic planning, does anyone know what that entails?

I know the strategic planning portion includes the budgets such as flexible budget and cash budget. It might also include variances, but I'm not sure of what else, the wording from AICPA is a little vague, but it says strategic planning is:

    A. Market and Risk Analysis
    B. Strategy Development, Implementation, and Monitoring
    C. Planning Techniques
    1. Budget and analysis
    2. Forecasting and projection
    3. Coordinating information from various sources for integrated planning

    AUD- 10/7/2016
    REG- 11/21/2016

Thanks everyone for the helpful posts, I do have Becker so I know the different weights, but I'm feeling like my scores when I redo the hw come from mostly memorization, which stinks. Is anyone else finding the optional problems to be way harder than the regular hw problems?
