Does anyone know the rate of how many international students are passing compared to US citizens taking this exam?

I don't know but it raises a question similar to many questions I've had… I wish there were more detailed pass rate statistics.

Awhile ago I was thinking it would be really cool to create a website that allowed users to fill out miscellaneous stats that could be compiled into a database and provide stats that can't be found elsewhere. If a few hundred thousand CPA candidates were to fill out a brief questionnaire, we could see some interesting statistics such as pass rate for international candidates, pass rate by age, pass rate for first attempt/second attempt, etc…. and the database wouldn't be limited to just CPA stuff.

Anyone else like that idea? If so, just give me some profit on what you generate out of my website idea and I'll be happy 🙂

I have always wanted to know the pass rate by # of attempts… mainly what % pass the whole CPA exam on the first try but it seems to be a debated topic with no factual backing as the AICPA doesn't provide that level of detail.
