Interview question: Do you have any questions for me?

I have been called for a second round interview next week. What questions should I ask the interviewer? Can I ask questions like how many days does it take you to complete month end close process, what are day to day responsibilities for this position, etc?

I think asking about month end is a good one. Wouldn't ask about day to day activities on a second interview, that should have been covered in the first interview.

Anything that you want to know that will also show that you're thinking the right way to perform well in this position. So, something about month-end looks good because you're wanting to know what's required to do well getting their month closed out in a timely manner. Something about salary or benefits, though, is just focused on the benefit to you so doesn't help you (and generally is considered in poor taste, so may hurt you). Anything specific you can follow up on from your first interview or from anything you've learned about the company since will look good, too.

If it's the manager I would be working with, I ask what their management style or about office culture. Second interview means I might get the job and I'd want to know if I would work well with that person

I'd be more interested in culture, direction, challenges, etc. and how I [you] can add value. Essentially, I'd be probing for culture and direction, and how my particular skill set and personality can compliment the department.

Day to day stuff and monthly close details are trite and inconsequential.

Braskey is correct, you want to ask questions that tell them you are thinking about how you can fit and be the perfect person for the job, everyone else will be asking about day to day things, or month end procedures, be 2 steps ahead.
