Is it advisable to study for FAR and another test at the same time?

So I didn’t plan my schedule out well, and I’m starting my studying relatively late. I am taking FAR first (scheduled for April 3), and am planning to cover 2-3 lectures a week. I use Becker to plan my schedule, and it’s telling me that I’m going to have to wait another two weeks before I should start studying (so basically, I have nothing to do until then).

Should I go off-schedule and start studying for FAR now and have two extra weeks upon completion of Becker’s schedule (which already includes two weeks of review time), or should I think about studying for another exam in the meantime? I’ve heard that it isn’t really a good idea to study for two at a time, but I really don’t want to waste much more time. Or are there any better options?

    Thanks!

If it were me, I would study and take BEC in February. I personally did AUD and BEC in one testing window (April and May) and then FAR and REG in one testing window (Oct and Nov). It was hard, but doable.

    REG: 84*

Yes, if you are ready to begin studying and your Becker schedule has you ending two weeks before your exam, why not move the exam up two weeks?

    FAR - 90
    REG - 90
    BEC - 91
    AUD - 99

OP – Start studying for FAR now. You never know what will happen while studying, and FAR is a beast of massive amounts of information. You will need plenty of review time.

Hari – March is a dead month. So, he cannot move his test up 2 or 3 weeks.

    CPA EXAM: DONE!!!!
    Ethics Course: Passed
    Application Mailed: 3/16/15
    Professional Conduct Exam: 97
    Certification Date: 4/2/15!!!
