…or do the holiday’s suck when it comes to seeing family members you haven’t seen in awhile and they constantly ask you about your CPA studies, passing, failing, etc? I mean, this past six months have been miserable studying for this thing and all I get from my family is; “well it’s about time.” when I tell them I’m done with the tests.

Damn…if they only knew how hard this whole process was.

Yeah, it's especially annoying when they don't realize that (a) you have two jobs and (b) you have a family (wife/husband and kids) and, yes, bith of those do TAKE TIME TOO!!!

I don't like it when people ask me ‘Have you passed yet”. The test is very stressful. Those questions get on my nerves. I'll let you know when I pass! Okay! Is what I want to say, but all I do is smile.

Yea, I'm with you Elly. I have told a few people but not many. I told my boyfriend, immediate family members, my favorite cousin, and only two of my friends. And of course my bosses know since that is unavoidable. I only told people that it wouldn't bother me for them to know if I failed. However, it turns out that my bosses and my mom have told others so I'm not sure who all knows. Of course I got on to my mom, but not my bosses lol.

@beechcrest, I don't get the “have you passed yet?” but I do get the “have you found out yet?” which drives me crazy. If I have found out and I passed I will tell you. If I have found out and I failed, well obviously I'm not ready to tell you yet. So annoying. I will tell when I am ready. 🙂

@ SeePeeAyy that is crazy. I got a 79 on BEC and didn't really want to tell my boyfriend what I made but when I did he was like “why does that bother you? You passed, that is all that matters.” And that is true. You passed! Congrats on passing Far!
