Have my first REG exam on Wednesday. I studied hard for 2 months and it feels as though I do not know anything. I’ve done practice exams, simulations, Wiley and Becker MC, thoroughly understood concepts…and now 2 days before the exam I feel like my brain is empty and I feel like I just don’t care. Is this something any of you experienced before taking the exam?

Exactly the feeling I had before taking it the first time. I studied really hard for two months, crammed really hard the weekend before and, well, at the end I felt like I could not remember anything at all, like it was jumbled together…. you can tell how that worked out.

Although sometimes I feel that way even when I'm prepared really well end up acing the exam… so take that with a grain of salt.

Thanks. I've just started to review all chapters. We'll see how it turns out…

Your probably burnt out. I felt the same way when taking FAR. Take Tuesday off to rest up. It will help you when it comes to Wednesday. That's what I did and will be doing for REG also. I have REG next Monday so I'm going to take it easy on Sunday. Good luck my friend!

Focus on the MCQ's on your Wiley Test Bank. If you're pulling mid 80's or above, you're doing fine.

If not, pound on them until you are regularly in that range.

Yeah, I've basically felt like that everytime. I think its just the stress of realization that the exam has finally arrived. Just breath deep, remind yourself that you put in the work and it will pay off! I always schedule my exams around 11:30am, and stop studying the prior evening by about 8pm, make sure to get a good nights sleep and just do whatever quick review I feel necessary for about an hour before I leave for the exam. Good luck!
