NINJA Question –

I have 2012 Becker books and nothing else. Will buying a 10 point combo be enough?

If not, what is the best review course to get? I am a visual learner. I tend to write down things I need to remember. Right now, my biggest limitation is money. I really need an affordable choice.

I did read through the forum topics. I am still bit confused as to what to do. Please kindly help. Thank you.

If money is your biggest issue, I would try the Ninja materials. I used Becker, but I think the Ninja stuff is the most affordable I've seen. Also, there are many on the website that can attest to it. Maybe some of them will respond if you have more questions.

General consensus is that 10 point combo is not going to be enough. It is top notch supplementary review material. I've heard of people using just that, but it seems to be the exception rather than the rule.

With the addition of the NINJA MCQ, it's getting close to being enough if it's not already (in my opinion) because of the adaptive learning and explanations/text/terms and sims. If you can get your trending score up to 85%-ish, you're ready.

Once the NINJA Book is added to all of them, it's definitely enough and can be used as a full course or supplement.

To study for REG, I quickly perused the Wiley Focus Notes and read 3 pages from Roger concerning AMT, but other than that I strictly used NINJA Notes/Audio and the MCQs. I took my exam yesterday and if I don't pass it's entirely on me not spending enough time going through all of the material because even just the NINJA Notes and MCQs were more than enough preparation for the exam.

There wasn't one question that came out of left field in REG (unlike my experience with BEC, and I studied for that using Roger almost exclusively) and the NINJA MCQs mimic the actual exam so much better than the WTB does. I plan on continuing to work through the NINJA MCQs if a REG re-take is needed and will absolutely be purchasing the NINJA MCQs for AUD and FAR after that.

Just don't use the 2012 Becker version for AUD. The actual test might surprise you.

I think the 10 point combo is enough. There are people that could attest to it, even before the MCQ came out. The MCQ just made it better.
