Is the new Wiley Test Bank still a mess?

My WTB expired last month (old format) and I have been holding off on renewing/updating to the new format due to the enormous amount of complaints I’ve seen on the A71 forums. In the past month I have been using the questions in the Wiley books instead. However, this method does not help me much when it comes to the SIMS (Audit is my current exam, then FAR), which is where I hear a majority of the problems lie – SIMS. Before I spend the $210 on a 1 year subscription for these sections, I would like to know if the bugs have been worked out or will it take another 6 months to fix, therefore leaving my purchase worthless.

Please Wiley respond to this and let me know exactly when this system is going to be online and working 100% to it’s $210 annual fee expectation for the 2 sections I have remaining (AUD and FAR). Any input from other candidates is welcome.

FYI…$210 will buy a lot of Ramen Noodles – in short, like most candidates, the cost of review software comes with sacrifice so I want to ensure I’m getting my money’s worth.

    Hey,

Just my two cents, but I never used the old WTB, and I think the new one is great. Many of the complaints you can chalk up to “It's not like the old one in this regard”, rather than some failure of operation.

I never have problems logging in, it works perfectly, and I like the format, but probably since I'm not used to the old one.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but I thought they said they extended the old test bank for anyone who already had it right through to when the old test bank goes away. They couldn't distinguish between groups of people, so everyone gets it until it goes away completely.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

With the 2014 Wiley, no way on choosing “not seen” or “answer incorrectly” questions….

Also the Sims research tab is not working!!!!

Jeff: I don't understand why anyone will buy Wiley anywhere else but with you!

    AUD - Done
    REG - Done
    BEC - Done
    FAR - August 2015

To answer your question, yes.. its still a mess.

Can you study from it? Yes.

Is there a lot still missing? Yes.

I get that overall they were trying improve the interface, and I truly can see where some improvements have been made. However,I don't believe Mercedes or BMW would make significant upgrades to the engine/safety performance of their top selling models, while forgetting to include basic “smaller” things like automatic locks and windows, keyless entry, etc…

I've seen quite a few errors in the questions, especially research SIMs. As someone else said, you probably have an extended subscription until June. I reverted to using the old test bank for my AUD test and now my upcoming BEC. I really don't want to learn incorrect information and since I'm using the MCQ to learn from, if those have errors then that seems counterproductive to use!
