I just bought the Yaeger 2012 HomeStudy!!! I’m excited to begin studying for my first CPA exam. I just felt like posting this lol. Also do you guys consider studying first then scheduling the exam? And what are your thoughts on Yaeger?

Haha, all I think about is the opportunity cost of giving up my temporary hobbies for a better future. I know it will pay off in the long run. And I'm sure it paid off for you.

Yaegar is great. No complaints at all.

I made my test date first than studied. I liked having that schedule. It helped to motivate me rather than just having an open ended study period. If your test date is approaching and you are not ready, you can always reschedule. But don't let that happen often. You have to remain disciplined.

Welcome aboard! I would suggest scheduling the exam first, then studying. That way it will give you more incentive to study.

Hahaha @ some very motivational funny comments. Everyone seem so chilled here. This place is awesome. I will wait till my Wiley books come in then I shall begin studying, I'm aiming for FAR on Aug. 30. I should be able to get enough studying done since I have no where to attend to besides my house (no school & no job that month).

Keep that excitement throughout the process…I seem to lose it every once in a while:). I agree with everyone's comments here though…stronger coffee, train through very painful but happy destination, and another71 is a great great resource!!
