    NINJA Question –

    Hello All,

I plan on taking FAR in July right after AUD. That said, I will need all the help I can get! For those of you who are hard core NINJAs, how useful/beneficial were the NINJA notes?

Would the benefit outweigh the cost?!

I apologize, Jeff, just using the concept of ‘Professional Skepticism. ‘

    Thanks !

    AUD-FAILED X5
    FAR-FAILED X1
    BEC-FAILED
    REG-FAILED

I think the Ninja Notes are extremely helpful. FAR has a lot of material and you will definitely need to add some detail to the notes, but it is a great summary. There is also a section on just IFRS, which you will appreciate during the exam!

I'm only so-so on the Ninja Notes (huge fan of Ninja Audio), but they don't cost very much, so if they help you at all, it's well worth it. I would have a hard time seeing them not helping, unless you don't use them.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

I think everybody uses them differently and to varying degrees. For FAR, I felt I needed more detail on most sections so I primarily stuck to Wiley in the beginning. However, as my final two week review crept up I used them alot. Primarily for review of old material and to memorize trouble areas that just never really stuck.

Also, alot of people forget that the concepts such as ELL and rewriting notes; they may be common knowledge now but they all come from the notes and advice from others on this site. Lastly, even if I didn't use them as much as others might, it's also my way of supporting this site. I'm not saying everybody should spring the whole 10 pt package but I do think if you use the site and like the samples trying out one section for one product is the least you can do…
