    I dont think you can do 400 some hours of studying and fail the test. Not possible IMO.

    For the BEC score release last window I was up until 2 am on the score release thread constantly refreshing the page. Mind you, I started monitoring the thread very early in the day. The experience was very very bad. I DO NOT intend to do a repeat of that. I honestly cannot express to you how much just sitting around your computer for hours on end refreshing the page sucks.

    The scores are supposed to be released on Wednesday I think. I’m gonna volunteer for a bit then go swimming. Later, I’m going to buy a six pack, go home, and watch a movie. My hope is that ill fall asleep and wake up sometime early in the morning thursday. Then, ill check my score.

    Jeff, are you sure on these dates? I check NASBA and wasn't able to find a Q3/Q4 2013 schedule posted yet. I did find these dates for Q3 of 2012.

    I'm with gsnyder00 . . . the way I count it, first wave should be announced as releasing on Monday, Aug. 5 (11 business days after July 20), with actual release probably on Friday, Aug. 2.

    What do you think? Can we hope?

    I found this on the AICPA site. I know it says 2011 in the address, but when you go to it, it is 2013 info. Hope this helps everyone who is anxious.

    @MCLKT, do you mind sharing your study strategy? You have some pretty impressive improvements from your first takes. I feel like I watch a lecture, highlight etc. but retaining much!

    Sorry, don't mean to hijack the thread, but I'm going to just for

    @MrsCPA80
    , I switched up my study strategy back in December and I have gone 3 for 3 with it now 🙂

    But it's basically the NINJA method that I adjusted for my own mileage.

    I watch all of the videos for my course and take really detailed notes. Then I rewrite those notes one chapter at a time and do all of the homework questions from the text book (this is when the retention begins). Finally, I take a practice exam, and starting with my weakest area I work a ton of questions in the WTB usually in 25-30 question testlets until I score in the 80s on all sections. I usually take one more practice exam after that. Then I just keep working questions until I want to throw my computer out of the window because it's so tedious, and repetitive and boring. But I do it because this is when it all sticks and clicks and gets me over 75.

    Also, I keep a separate Fact Nugget book to write 1-2 sentence summaries for any question I didn't know, got wrong, or just sort of guessed on.

    I listen to NINJA Audio every time I am in my car.

    I read pages from my notes and NINJA NOTES every night.

    I carry my Fact Nuggets around with me everywhere I go and review them all the time.

    I also create flash cards to carry around and engage my family to help me study and I use the NINJA flash cards on my phone if I have no other materials with me and find myself with a moment to study.

    That's about it.

    Oh, and I changed my attitude. I wrote a really long post about it when I passed AUD 🙂

    Never underestimate the power of an extremely pissed off woman.

    Ok, back to score releases… just six more weeks!!!!!

    Yeah, I remember looking at it awhile back and getting frustrated because AICPA still couldn't count 6 business days. And all I could think about was how in Aug. I was going to be cutting and pasting my score release breakdown over and over because everyone was going to get all confused, lol.

    Here it is: June 12th

    @MCLKT wow, that is a great plan!! Thanks for sharing. I think I need to try your extra notebook of fact nuggets and carry that with me. Congrats on your passing scores, really inspiring!! I am working on FAR now and just feel like there is sooo much information and trying to keep it organize let alone remember it has been a struggle! Did you find the NINJA notes helpful for FAR?

    @MCLKT also, do you do all the questions when you re-write your notes or after each chapter?

    {edited by MCLKT – I rewrite the chapter notes for one chapter. Then do the “assigned” homework in the book for that chapter. Then I go to the next chapter 🙂 And I think the NINJA notes are essential for FAR, specifically, because they help you focus on important topics hidden in all of that information. But overall, I think NINJA has been a big part of my passing scores for each exam. }
