I usually always know what to do after a fail as it motivates me. But 3 straight 74s on BEC is crazy! Really don’t know what to do or how to attack the re-studying..Sort of at a loss for words.

If you're like me (74/74 on REG – read about it here: https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-survival-guide/), then you're strong in most areas, but weak in one or two – and those need to get fixed.

What are your weak 1 or 2 areas?

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 76
    REG - 92

I got back to back 74's on Audit. It. Is. Brutal. My results show I was stronger overall compared to other passing candidates in MCQ's and weaker in Sims. After I complained, cried, and complained some more, I realized that I just got lazy on the Sims. I wanted out of that exam room. I wanted to be done. I didn't take the time I had available (like 2 hours) to really go through the sims. It's my fault. I accept that now. However, my firm that I work for is adamant on paying for me to have my score reviewed. I told them it was fruitless. I told them it would be a waste of their money. They said it was their money to spend. Sigh. Jeff or anyone….have you EVER heard of someone having their score reviewed and changed? I know your CPA survival thing said you hadn't but wasn't sure if anyone else had. I'd rather the money go to my next re-take but my firm just won't listen to me.

    AUD 74, 74

    REG 81

    BEC 76

    FAR 81

BEC is the only exam without SIMS which gives you chance by just answering your 85% MCQs correctly! I can't emphasize more that it is crucial to do non-stop MCQs. That's the only way you will remember all formulas……NINJA MCQs are great! I failed my first BEC attempt by barely studying with Becker self study and got 66. Second time, I only read ninja notes, made a few notes from becker and practiced tons of MCQs. I studied for about 3 weeks and got 79!

The key in BEC is memorization which only comes with non-stop practice!

Becker self-study, Wiley Test Bank and books, Becker final review. NINJA MCQ bank and NINJA notes for BEC only!

    AUD - PASSED!
    FAR - PASSED!
    REG - PASSED!
    BEC - PASSED!
