I took REG last window and passed with a 75 on the first try. I had Becker 2011, ninja notes and Wiley test bank. I completed the Becker questions between 2 to 3 times each, read about only 5 pages of the ninja notes and did maybe 150 questions of the Wiley test bank.

I haven't had that kind of luck on the other sections tho.

I dont know if this post will makes you feel better or make you feel worse lol, but that was my experience with Becker and REG. I was pretty pissed when I walked out of the testing center and was fairly surprised that I passed.

How the heck do you study for SIMS anyway??? I've been struggling with SIMS the past 2 tests…

I believe i was not aggressive enough when tackling those SIMS and spent too much time on one question. If you don't know the answer, i would just go make some educated guesses (and research those topics) and hope for partial credits. What do you think?

@laugeorge I wish I knew the answer, but quite frankly I screwed my SIMS. I tried to do some research today. If you have never read any IRC articles, you will find them written in just another language. Besides, I'm not an English speaker, which makes it harder for me to understand all the terminologies… Nobody can be fully prepared for SIMS, but if you have Becker textbook, I suggest you read through every example, chart, schedule even if they were never mentioned by Tim Gearty. If you can't remember all the stuff, you can try to read and understand related IRC articles, making sure that when you get a similar topic, you know how to use IRC. Hope that can help.
