Just passed the CPA….thanks Jeff. Looking to get off the road and seeking a financial analyst job in the Denver / Boulder area. I currently live in PA but the fiancé and I plan to move sometime this summer or fall. Any suggestions on companies where I should seek employment or places to stay away from? Some background info I have 8 years experience in the banking industry with last 3 years as a bank examiner.

I came here with a similar question. My sister just moved to Denver for nursing, and my wife is looking to take a job with the same hospital. I have 5 years IT, 3 years in accounting under a CPA in industry, and only FAR to pass before I can apply for my CO certificate. Any tips for employers to avoid or good companies to work for?

Congrats on passing your CPA exams!

Denver is booming! If you are interested in Real Estate it is currently a very hot market in Denver but the recruiters are picky and your CPA will play in your favor.

Charles Schwab just built a whole complex of offices in Denver and is constantly hiring – you can apply online. My advise is to find a good and honest recruiter. Their main goal is to place you and build business off of your success (referrals and such). Set up your LinkedIn account, sign up for a Premium subscription and check Glass Door before you apply anywhere.

    Good luck!

When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

    All Done!!!

    AUD 7/6/16 Passed
    BEC 9/3/16
    FAR TBD
    REG TBD
