Hey all, congratulations again to those who passed the exam and found out this weekend.

Quick question, I passed the last part of the exam and found out Friday. I have Form 4, Form 4B and Form 1 all in front of me. Which forms do I need to fill out? I am a little confused as to what I need to do next, so if someone can shed some light on this that would be great. Also, I heard that NASBA sends my transcripts to NY state, is that true or do I have to send them? I have read that I need to call NASBA and follow up constantly and make sure that they have sent them.

    Help is appreciated, thanks guys.

I'm in a similar spot as you both except I have no experience to sign off yet.

But I contacted the NY State board a few weeks ago and they said:

Form 1 w/ fee can be submitted at any time.

NASBA would send your transcripts to the state board on your behalf, so I am assuming form 2 wont be necessary?

And you fill out form 4 (and your employer fills out form 4B) when you get the required experience.

I haven't done this process myself so I don't know if its accurate. Hopefully it helps and someone else who been through this can elaborate/verify.

Hey thanks Barronn30. That sounds about right, I knew there were three forms to fill out. What was the phone number for the NY state board?

And can anyone else offer any direction on this for all of us?

They have a few contact info on their website but I wasn't sure which is the correct category for initial applications.

    https://www.op.nysed.gov/prof/cpa/cpacontact.htm

I contacted through their general customer care via email.

Hi Everyone, I just passed my final part and I'm not sure how I should proceed. Should I wait until I receive the congratulatory letter from Nasba? OR Should I send in the paperwork immediately? What are my next steps? Which forms do I need to fill out? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
