I did not factor this into my time management.

I didn't do the book MCQs at all, just waited till I had gone through the whole book and then did MCQs in the test bank, so that I'd get some of everything (I didn't do them by topic, just did random sets of everything). So, I skipped all the MCQs in the book and didn't regret it, but that's because I was doing my MCQs elsewhere.

Maybe you could do something like if the chapter has 2 sets of MCQs, do every-other MCQ from both groups, so that you know you're still getting a sampling of everything. If one set covers 1/2 of the chapter and the other set covers the other 1/2 of the chapter, then skipping one set might be a problem, but doing every-other should be OK. And if you always did the odd ones, then if you had extra time left you could go back and do the even ones and know for sure it was new problems that you hadn't already seen. 🙂

Are you studying FAR? I think the other sections only have 1 per chapter, but FAR is only multiple for 3 or 4 modules, and some of the sub-sections are shorter and have a smaller amt of questions.
