I took FARE today and felt really good about 80% of the multiple choice questions. I guessed on about 20% and had about 1 hour and 50 minutes to do simulations….I think I took forever doing the first written section….was left with 30 minutes to finish the first simulation. I had 45 minutes going into the second simulation…I was completly thrown away by the written section in the 2nd simulation….I know it was a horrible memo 🙁

Is it true that they only grade 1 communication tab? I hope so….I would give myself 2 points on my 2nd written memo lol.

As for the other tabs on the simulations….I know I bombed them all. I probably had 1 (maybe 2) tabs that I would get partial credit for….oh and I didn’t do any research!!! I ran out of time!!

My point is……if you spend enough time getting to know every subject on the BECKER book….or whatever you are using….you will do well on the multiple choice questions…SIMULATION is a different story!!!

@Jess – I think you should pass. They do only grade 1 comm tab, so hopefully its your 1st one. At least you felt comfortable with the mcq's, it sounds like a lot of people on here do not do well on the sim's but have passed. Good luck in getting results!

Hi Michelle!!! You got an 88 in FAR!!! That's great! How did you feel about simulations? Were you comfortable answering them?

Remember that about 16% of the MC is pretest so if you're unsure about 20% then you're likely just fine.

Thanks!! I was somewhat comfortable answering them, but honestly I did the biggest brain dump in my life after that exam haha and it was my first one so I had no clue what to expect.

sounds better than my experience and I passed 🙂 I wasn't really sure what they were looking for on my SIMS so I kinda just put random numbers in there…. lol
