second attempt at AUD after scoring a 69 on my first try…I finished all the MCQs within a reasonable time because I had about 2.25hrs left for the SIMS. Overall i felt good after finishing my exam (better feeling than the 1st time lol)

As far as the SIMs go, I want to say I got a little lucky because I had 2 research questions and the other simulations covered material that I had a strong a knowledge on, i just hope that i did not get the answers confused.

Now i just have to wait until May 24th !! for the score release, OH and did i mention that my REG credit expires on 4/30. (AUD is the only section i have left) –ANXIOUS !!

Hopefully you passed it this time. I'm taking it on Tuesday and even though I feel prepared, I'm nervous about the sims. Sometimes the way they format them, makes it confusing on how they want you to answer. Did you get any FAR related sims? I need to go over adjusting entries and ratios again. Hope you're finally done after this!

I take my take 3 this Saturday. Another testing quarter with 2 research sims. 🙁 I guess the other 5 definitely count. I'm also nervous about the Sims. I been practicing Sims to understand what they want.

@re2pect good luck to you ! and yea SIMS can get a bit confusing, especially if there is a drop down list where some answers look alike. let me know how it goes!

@key522 you are almost there!!! so close! keep studying the SIMS and also NINJA MCQs they are great. Hopefully the SIMS you get on exam day will be the ones that you have a strong understanding.. let me know how it goes as well

rminrx8, I had a very similar experience to you last quarter, So-so MCQs, easier SIMS and 2 research questions.
I think if you felt the MCQs were good and the SIMS were easy, you should look forward to a pass. Good luck!

rminrx8- I felt better about this one than FAR, but you really never know until you get your score. I got 2 research sims as well and hope they both count since I was able to find them right away. A couple of sims were really long and had a lot of info to process, but once I took a minute to figure out what they were asking, they weren't all that bad. I should get at least partial credit on them and didn't completely bomb any of them. I'm glad I went over those ratios and adjusting entries!

@rminrx8 my sims were surprisingly manageable. My last retake I knew the sims were brutal. This time I think I have a fighting chance.

@rminrx8 I also took AUD exam on 04/29. This was my second attempt after getting score of 72 in first attempt. I thought I passed the exam first time but I failed. Although, it was close very close. The reason was simulations. I performed comparable on MCQS but weaker on SIMS last time. This time I did not had any feeling after the exam. But I do feel that I did better on SIMS this time. Before taking exam, I managed to complete one full length Ninja Practice test and ended up with a score of 82. I hope I can see 75+ on 05/24. What do you say?

@Key522 Same here! it sucks that one cannot disclose information about the test lol… how did you do on the MCQ's ?

If i am up at that time then I am up, if i fall asleep I will just check the score in the morning since i do have work. But who knows ill prob end up staying up late since this could be my last score ever! on previous exams i would just check them first thing in the morning.

@rminrx8 Wow your last test! Good luck! I understanding why you are so nervous. Without disclosing any details. I think I did well on the first testlet because the second testlet was more difficult in my opinion and then the third went back to medium. I'm nervous because the sims were manageable to me. I feel like the CPA gods were on my side. I know if you feel good about the test it sometimes mean you failed. This is my third attempt I'm ready to move on to REG.

I just got back from AUD, and it was absolutely brutal. It was my second test, I find out my REG score on the 8th, but it was a lot easier than AUD was. Nearly positive I failed, if I pass I will be shocked beyond belief.

As for the sims, I had two research questions, and from the other ones, they were all FAR based except one. I got out of undergrad in 2009 and haven't started to study FAR at all. So a lot of it was really really in a grey area for me.

My plan is I am going to wait until the 8th to do anything, if I pass REG, I am moving to BEC (AUD score doesn't get released until the 22nd or so, I guess I can hope for a miracle there). After BEC, would it be better for me to move on to FAR before taking on AUD again? In AUD, I feel like I know the main points pretty well, but those little tiny details and the trickery they pull in MCQ just gets me.

I have taken a graduate level class specifically for covering AUD in fall of last year, we used Gleim as our material and I made an A in the class. I didn't take the exam until now because I wasn't eligible to sit at the time. Since then I have watched all of the Roger videos, taken notes, and put in over 30 hours into Ninja MCQ (trending at 86%, averaging 79%).

I really don't know what to do. Any tips?
