Keller/Devry with different study program

I am considering taking the Keller/Devry review course for FAR to fulfill the last 3 credits of my CPA exam requirements while also using a different material as my main study material. I know Becker is paired with Keller/Devry but Becker is a little out of my price range.

    I am considering:

Gleim – Heard the MCQ’s aren’t representative of the actual exam though and whatever material I get I would intend to buy all 4 parts at once. Price is an advantage here but I am willing to pay more if something actually is more beneficial.

CPAexcel – Seems like a quality program all around

Roger – Seems like the lectures are great but I don’t know much about the other aspects of the program

Yeager – Pricy and initial impression is good but don’t know much else about it

Would it be a problem if my materials didn’t match the ones for the course for FAR?

I’d be interested to see people’s comments based on what kind of learner they are. Thanks!

I did it a few years back (damn, I'm old) for one extra course through Keller, and they required Becker since that was the course work. You did practice questions and stuff through the software…

I don' tknow if that's changed by now though.

Well if they only make you get the Becker materials for FAR and not all four parts that wouldn't be bad. I just don't want to drop 3 grand for all 4 parts.
