Did anyone else get left home alone to study, while friends and family are out of town for the holiday weekend? Can’t wait until this is behind me!

Strangely, I’m studying for REG – which is the exam I was studying for 2 years ago over the Memorial Day weekend also. I passed, but then lost the credit because I didn’t pass FAR in time!

    WE WILL PASS!

Well, I was in a similar situation here in the US. My graduation was last week, and my family was here (from overseas). I didn't spend much time with them because I was studying most of the time. They were here for about 10 days. It's been about 5 months since I last saw them in christmas when I visited.

At least, you get to see your family and spend time with them after your exam is done. But, for us, international students, this is not an option unless we are ready to fly for 17 hours!

I hope my situation will make you feel better 🙂

I have been missing out on many activities as I sit up at my desk most weekends studying. I just tell myself that it is really a short period of time and worth the sacrifice.

    BEC - 02/21/15 - 82
    FAR - 05/29/15 - 82
    AUD - 07/09/15 - 93
    REG - 11/14/15 - 80

    All done!!!

I did in Xmast, Thanksgiving, and every holiday since last May 2014. I am taking this Memorial day weekend because I am waiting x my score this May 27.. Never pass at the 1ert time so I think that I will take REG again in Aug,

Actually, In your 40s, It was not a bad idea to sit down for 5 hours after running around without stop for hours with my kids (5 year old and 3 years old).

In my 20s, I was studding for my Toeft, Gmat and Graduate school… But please remember …this is not for ever and the benefits are huge after your CPA.

    YOU CAN DO THIS…GOOD LUCK

FAR - 77 x2 Wiley book & no test bank
    AUD - 83 x3 NINJA Test bank 3 time
    REG - 80 x1 NINJA Test bank
BEC - 78 X2 NINJA Test bank ..done!!promesa cumplida mama -que llege al cielo 🙂

Yeah it makes you realize how much of a time consumer this exam is as I was studying for my first exam (REG) last memorial day weekend. My exam is next Saturday but I'm taking this weekend off and am going to enjoy it! Good luck to everyone still studying.

Yes! My husbands dad picked him up an hour ago to go to the cabin. He left the dog behind, so I'm not completely alone. I have REG Friday, but I'm not prepared. So I am going to head to the cabin for one night. Promises made when you think that you are going to be on top of everything and will be prepared for the exam well in advance. I should know better!

    AUD 83 2/16
    BEC 76 9/16
    FAR 77 7/15
    REG 72 6/16, retake 85 12/16

    AUD (10/14) 62 (2/16) 83
    BEC
    FAR (8/14)71 (1/24/15)77

Another85 – That does put things into perspective! I hope you get to spend some time with your family soon!

Kiester – LoL, they took the dog too in my case, which is good because he will have a much better time at the cabin than laying around the house doing nothing while I study. But, I did get volunteered let the neighbor's dog out every couple hours so at least I'll get my animal therapy that way!

More_Coffee – Ditto. My exam is next Saturday! Study, study, study!

I missed several holidays while studying. My parents would take my kids to spend the holiday with my brother's family while I studied and my husband worked. It sucks, but the uninterrupted study time was worth it. It's a short time although it doesn't seem like it while you are going through it. You can do it! It was also nice to know my girls were having a great time and didn't have to be around me while I was stressed trying to plan a holiday AND study. Enjoy thequiet and get as much studying in as you can. Good luck!
