Level of difficulty of Becker software questions

    Hey guys,

Sorry in advance if this has already been covered, but I want to know how or if we can distinguish the level of difficulty of the multiple choice questions in the Becker CPA software? For example….questions considered easy, medium and hard. I know it tells us how many times we have worked the question, got it wrong etc. Would we find this out on the left hand side under “question statistics”? Taking FAR tomorrow and I was just curious. Thank you in advance!

    BEC – Passed

    AUD- Passed

    REG – Passed

    FAR – Tomorrow

Becker has both Hard and Medium, but if I had to generalize I would say Hard. When I took FAR I did not struggle on any problems because they were a harder version of Becker. There was just a couple of IFRS questions that were not covered in Becker. Everything else was an easier version of something I did on Becker.

Generally, everyone says that the Becker questions are much harder than the actual test questions (which is a good thing because if you can handle Becker, you can handle the exam).

I'm in the same boat as you are though, I won't be able to confirm if that is true or not until tomorrow night.

Becker questions tend to be more difficult in my opinion. I personally think that Gliem is a closer representation to the real thing in both difficulty and format.

Cpaexcel is also more close to the exam than Becker. At this point I can shoot threw like 90% of the Cpaexcel questions for BEC, so I moved to Becker. I scored 58% on their financial section(granted I will be at 90% later today), but it shows that review programs do very significantly. Some of the Wiley questions were so out of left field I wanted to scream…

I would say the Becker questions are medium level but they build concepts that'll help you on hard level questions that'll come up on the real test.
