    dumb question perhaps – not exam related. What if any restrictions are there typically on Linked In profiles for CPAs?

    What do you mean by restrictions?

    You obviously can't advertise yourself as a CPA unless you're officially a CPA.

    Yeah, I don't know what you mean by restrictions. There's a place for your to put your license information in the “Certification” section.

    I would say limitations include, but are not limited to, any form of fraudulent misrepresentation. Further, some companies have social media guidelines. Also, don't post political stuff.

    You'd need to use the CPA designation in your name depending on how you listed your name on your application for your certificate. E.g. John H. Doe, CPA and not John Doe, CPA or vice versa.
