To be expected. Use the mcq as a learning tool. Scores will improve as you press on.

I was worried about that too. My buddy who is just about to finish his last exam told me that if you're hitting 50 or greater your first time around that's expected. Under 50% isn't great. So I think you're golden.

Finding this out really made my day because I was very concerned. Although, I must say, I wasn't going to admit defeat without trying my best to get that score up. I'm going into week 2 stronger and I'm going to listen to the NINJA audio for the section I already studied and the ones I haven't studied. Plus, I'm going to view and listen to the review videos and read the text just as I did during the first week. Each day, I'll work 20-30 MCQs…we'll see how I progress at week's end.

I'm doing Becker and I find that the videos are great and all, but I don't rewatch them. None of my friends rewatched the videos, they said most of the learning comes from reading the chapters and doing the problems. I was really excited averaging an 85% my first week on FAR chapter 1, but then chapter 2 I got DESTROYED lol.

Oh, no…I will not be watching the CPA review videos from section 1 again either. I'm moving on to the next section for week 2 lol. Honestly I busted out laughing at your excitement turning to a destroyed feeling. I can picture someone saying this and I definitely understand feeling like you're grasping a concept to only find out you know absolutely nothing at all LOL.

Haha yeah, my buddy told me F-2 would be the worst. I just reread the chapter slowly though and I think I got it all now. Will have to try out the problems again tomorrow after the gym, hopefully everything will stick when I get to it tomorrow.

I'm using Roger's CPA Review along with Ninja MCQs & audio. I'm sending good vibes in your direction…so, tomorrow will be better for both of us.

The best method is to Read slowly, do the questions right after reading, then if there are any outstanding issues that can't be resolved by reading the explanations to the answers, go back and read that specific section again.

I wouldn't be concerned about those scores in week 1. My scores were like that in AUD. Make sure you are thoroughly reading Roger's explanations to the answers. They are very good, and you can apply that information to answer similar questions correctly. Keep track of the sections that you continue to score low on because that will let you know what your weaknesses are that require more studying.

I actually read the textbook and do very well on the corresponding MCQs. However, when I logged into the Ninja MCQs, I felt as if I hadn't studied what was necessary (aside from a few questions) to pass. There's a drastic difference between the questions within Roger's review and Ninja. But, I'll be sitting down to review week 1 and week 2 concepts this weekend.

@KGREEN37 – I feel the same way. I'm taking REG and the review from Roger is completely different from NINJA. Roger videos are great but NINJA is the MCQs to judge your knowledge retained.

    FAR - 50, 78
    BEC - 67, 72, 75
    AUD - 72, 80
    REG - 70, 85
