So I finally got my NTS today and went to schedule my exam. I clicked on a date and then decided to click back on the Prometric website to look at other testing centers. When I clicked next again, the date I had tried to schedule was gone. So I clicked the day before, and out of curiosity, clicked back again. Now neither date is available and I’m assuming it’s because the website still thinks I’m trying to register for them. Is this the case and is there anything I can do because there are literally no other dates besides these two available.

I hope my assumption is correct because if they somehow got taken within seconds of me trying to register I’m going to be livid, but if the site is just confused then I need to figure out what to do ASAP

I would call but their website doesn't list any phone numbers and instead tells me to pick a section or something from a big list so I don't know what to do

Well apparently BOTH of the dates I was looking at somehow happened to get taken after I looked at them, I'm calling BS on it and am gonna try with another location to see what happens but I am so annoyed right now

I ended up scheduling at a different location for fear that those days would be taken soon too and wasn't going any further than there

I guess I underestimated how quickly these days would fill up for there to not be a single August date available at the location I wanted

I wanted to schedule for a specific date last time and I waited 2 weeks and it opened up. I think it constantly changes from people rescheduling or cancelling.

I noticed that too.

Sometimes the whole month is closed, but then a few days open (right in the next week) due to people canceling.

If you absolutely need a space it pays to check every day.

Keep watching for the day and location you actually wanted. As long as you do it early enough, you can reschedule for free.

When you say you clicked the back button, did you use the back button on your browser or a back button within the Prometric website? There are a lot of websites (especially ones like online shopping and registering for something) where clicking your browser's back button can mess up what you're trying to do. Make sure you use the Back button next to the Next button when using the Prometric website.
