I have marked mine on all exams. I really dont think they check which ones are marked or not. If thats the case, then I think they would have better results by watching you with the camera's in that room and see how you are acting (or crying). In FAR I put my head down a few times and leaned back like I gave up for a sec, gathered myself back up and did my best. IF they watched (which Im not saying they do, just an example) then they would be like, "yep he didnt study enough, we are going to fail him". Marking questions is just a tool for the test taker and it doesnt really prove anything or more than if they watched you take it. I guess what Im trying to get at is that if they wanted to affect your score other than what you chose, the amount of time you spent on that question, going back to already answered questions, your calculations on the calculator or spreadsheet, all those would be better than marked questions. They also shred your scratch paper if you didnt see. And IF they did see what I wrote, lol, I probably wouldnt have passed with the slang and pictures that helped me remember things.
Isnt that also the review course that tells you to start with D up to A bc A is the most likely wrong answer? I tried that and reminding myself to start with D bc A is this most likely wrong answer messed me up since it was on my mind and swayed my choices. Either you know it or you dont, and if you dont you can usually take it down to 2 choices whether it be A and C or B and D, but going into the question thinking A is a trick answer unless you are for sure positive its right is something that messes me up. but YMMV.
