    Hi All!

I’m in the process of submitting my application to the MA Board of Accountancy. From what I’ve read the state doesn’t send us a wall certificate but we need to buy it directly from NASBA for $27.

Have any MA CPAs bought the certificate from NASBA? What does it look like? I don’t want to buy it if it’s some generic certificate thing that looks like what you’d get when you graduate from Kindergarten. I want to be sure it looks official. Can anyone share an example of what they got when they ordered the certificate from NASBA? The NASBA site doesn’t give a decent example.

    Thanks!

I ordered the NASBA one for Montana – it's what I would consider “standard” wall certificate size, very much suitable for framing. That said, I put “Do Not Bend” in giant capital letters in the “special request” box when I ordered it, and it came with a lovely dent right in the middle and a note on the envelope that basically said “not our fault.” Thinking about taking it to a framing shop to see if they can iron it out – I was a little irked to say the least. First world problems I guess….

Do you mind taking a picture? Interested to see what it looks like. The NASBA site is not a help at all! Thanks.

I'm pretty computer illiterate, but if you Google CPA wall certificate or something similar, there are some examples on there that are similar to mine. They might be different for different states – either way, it looks very official and professional, which is what I think your concern was.
