I had to complete the Becker courses as part of my Master's program last year. It is a required portion of the Keller Graduate School of Management curriculum for the Master's of Accounting and Financial Management - CPA track. This is actually a reason why I chose to get my Master's there over a few other schools in my area (North Jersey/NYC).
However, what I didn't know at the time was that DeVry owns both Keller and Becker, which I am pretty sure is why it is part of the Keller requirements. While most people pay over $2000 for all four Becker courses, Keller students are paying for it by the credit. It was $515 per credit when I was taking these courses from Jan - May 2009...this comes out to $4,635 for all four prep courses, which is insane!
If I had known how much more I would be paying for the Becker prep originally, I probably would have gone to a different school and enrolled in the Becker prep courses on my own because it would have been much cheaper overall (Keller overall was significantly more expensive per course than the other schools I was considering).
