    Hi everybody. I started my career in industry 3 years ago at a Fortune 500 and got my CPA during that time. I have an interview next week in the office and was wondering if anybody here had some tips/insight on what to expect. Thanks!

    If you are applying to their San Francisco office let me know.

    I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

    "Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

    @Study Monk,

    Do you work at the San Francisco location? I recently applied for a summer internship position there, how do you like it?

    @aduncansdg No it was the end of my accounting career 6 years ago. There was a manager there who was worst than Gordon Ramsay on Hells Kitchen. If he's still there I doubt he would mess with interns to much. I ended up leaving before he got the chance to fire me, but had difficulty finding an accounting job after that.

    Ah cool! I'm at the Chicago office. I actually had a few directors from the Schaumburg office interview me during the process. I'm in my first year. If you have any questions, ask away 🙂

    @meowmix I like the A71 tag first of all!

    Do you have others that come in as entry-level associates with some experience? Do you think they would see that as an advantage? The reason I ask is because almost everyone seems to come straight out of college. I have 3 years of Fortune 500 exp in SEC reporting and other areas so I am confident I would do well, but not sure about their thoughts.
