    I guess I should clarify … memorize the mnemonics if they will help you recall the information. Some mnemonics are better than others … but the ones for COBIT may be useful. Don't simply memorize it if you are not going to know anymore than what the letter represents.

    @malotu yea good call.

    mnemonics yes.

    acronyms no

    for example, you shouldnt focus on memorizing what HTTP is, instead on what HTTP does. then theres that other protocol merchants use to transfer payments to each other. its super antiquated from the 80's no one uses it but CPA still tests it.

    At the risk of sounding stupid, what mneumonics for IT? Gleim sure didn't have any.

    What do they call an accounting person, who only managed a 75 on all four parts of the CPA exam....you got it, CPA!!!

    BEC (2/28/16) ----- 78
    FAR (09/10/16)-----
    AUD
    REG

    CIA, CGAP, CFE

    COBIT has one that is ICE RACE for information criteria and PO AIDS ME for the 4 domains that constitute IT processes.

    I am having a really hard time getting a grasp on COBIT =(

    eesti – did you feel that the Becker questions related to COBIT were sufficient? Do you mean COBIT as it relates to COSO or COSO and COBIT on their own?

    Man, Gleim must do a horrible job with this section. COSO is covered; nothing on COBIT.

    Just looking at Wikipedia page about COBIT seems like enough to have a good grasp of the whole picture of this topic. What do you think?

    I stand corrected. Wow, I need to brush up. Yep, COBIT 5 is covered in Gleim.
