I am a senior signed with a firm after graduation in Advisory. I received a C- in Managerial Accounting I.

My school’s passing grade is a C-, and I am currently enrolled in Managerial Accounting II. Does the NY State CPA require a grade of C, or is it dependent upon my university’s granting me the credit?

I think you just need to pass the class. I don't think they care very much about the grades.

    AUD - 99
    BEC - 84
    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    NYC born and raised.

    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    BEC - 84!!!!
AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

you might want to take it again down the line. if c- is passing but the state requires a solid c, then you will be short qualifying credit for the exam even though you will be eligible through your school to graduate.

    It begins with a 75

If NY is like California then you just need to be awarded units for the class and grade doesn't matter.

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"
