Does an Accounting major/CS minor have any benefits in the job market, or is it a waste of time? What can one do with this background?

IT auditor. I hear it's hard to find IT auditors in Las Vegas at least. I also am told by someone on board of directors of a Vegas casino they start out at a much higher base. I wish I had but I was on my last year of college and wasn't about to add more. I was burned out.
