You really don't need to make multiple posts about the same thing…

    MD Candidate: 10/1/14

    FAR - 87 (11/23/14)
    REG - 87 (1/30/15)
    BEC - 89 (4/19/15)
    AUD - 98 (5/30/15)

    Ethics - 100

@Juuustin-she was trying to be helpful and probably didn't realize someone already had a thread going about this. It's not necessary for you to comment on posts in that manner. We're all here to support each other, not consistently point out people's mistakes, which you do often.

@leslie–there is a search feature at the top of the page that will let you search old posts. You can try using this before you post just to make sure someone hasn't already started a thread on the topic. Thank you for the head's up though.

REG: She made two threads herself about the exact same thing. One in ALL CAPS and one not. That isn't necessary.

@juuustin. I apologize. I didn't see her other post and I thought you were referring to the one started several days about by someone else.

Is Leslie a he or she? Leslie could either be a man's or woman's name.

Well, let's give her the benefit of the doubt that she probably got locked out or she didn't know she double-posted or something. Although her postings have a three-hour gap. One way or another, one person out of 10,000 would perhaps trip on this post and think, this was very helpful.

I must admit, upon reading this post last night, I kind of grinned and sighed, “Yeah, right, as in someone must have been slumbering or studying so hard to know this thing this late.”

maybe poster is rubbing it in…i definitely could have re-scheduled for a december testing date. but then again, i am also glad its over with. right now, at this very moment, i waiting on line on-line for some jordan 6. which is statistically more difficult to get than a pass on any section of the CPA exam.

@juuustin: I was trying to be helpful. There are many posts and people just browse rapidly through them, especially for someone like me who is cramming in the last few days and was grateful for the extension.

This website has been very helpful to me and i hope it is for you in the future as i noticed that you are only in the beginning of the process and only sat for one exam. You will find in the future there are more annoying posts than me trying to spread a “very last minute decision by NASBA” to extend the window.

I wish you all the best in your future as a candidate and CPA.

We are all in this together and your post was uncalled for (especially by the fact i took the small break that i have before the exam to post this and which someone else has mentioned that it was helpful to them).

And what's more necessary? Posting two negative comments? Did it help anyone?

Leslie this was actually completely helpful! Its the exact reason I created an account! I wanted to find out if the thanksgiving extension to December 5th was authentic, because initially they said they were not going to extend it! Where can I find the proper sources to show that it was truly extended??? I dont want to waste my money to change my exam date from 11/30 to 12/5 only to find out it was a prometric glitch! Someone help me out please!!!

Thanks for let people know. In my case, you saved me. After saw your post, I reschedule right away. I am supposed to take exam tomorrow, now move to Dec 6. I need more time for tax, where the sims are extremely difficult (according too many people said.) Thanks again

Prospect9, NASBA seems to be silent about this on its exam news page, but in this recent discussion, someone was able to confirm it with NASBA over the phone, and several people successfully rescheduled: https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-forum/topic/december-testing-dates

It sounds like it's for real.

Juuustin is correct about the multiple posts. I don't think he was being negative exactly– that was also helpful information. It's better message board etiquette to bump up your other thread by posting to it again (such as “bump” or “don't want people to miss this!”) than to post a duplicate.

Good luck to you guys! The extra time should be very helpful!

Thanks Kimboroni! As you can see I am still asking on other posts, because I just wanted to be sure about this! I have never heard about anyone sitting the CPA exam in December! It was totally weird. I need some more opinions and an authentic post from Nasba. I can just see something crazy happening when I sit this exam next week! Also thanks for sharing the link to another trend on this topic. People like you make this site so helpful! Cheers!

Extended until the 6th. I also rescheduled for 8am. Just depends on what your prometric has available.
