NASBA says I passed, State Board says I didn't

I recently “thought” I passed all parts of my exam. According to the NASBA website where I applied for my tests and it lists the exams I have credit for and their expiration dates, it said I had until 8/31 to pass my last test. I passed my last section on 8/28. I was on the Q2 passing list for my state, and the NASBA website has me showing credit for all 4 sections. I applied to my board of accountancy (Iowa) for my license ASAP as I was so excited to finally be done. Today I get an email from the Iowa board that I did not pass in the required amount of time, I in fact passed my last section 14 days too late. Looking at the documentation, that does seem true. I sat for my first exam on 2/14/13 and I sat for my last exam 8/28/14. However, I was just following what NASBA said and what my Score notice said for an expiration date. Both stated 8/31/14 as the expiration date. I called the Iowa Board and they told me I needed to pass Audit before 11/30 to receive my license. If I don’t pass audit before then, I lose another exam. I then called NASBA because the website wouldn’t let me apply because it says I have received credit for all 4 sections. They are working on a solution because they tell me I have met the criteria, but the Iowa Board disagrees. Has anyone had this happen?! Does anyone have any ideas for me, besides studying my butt off for the next 23 days and hoping I can get my NTS and schedule an exam and be prepared in that amount of time, when for the last 2.5 months I’ve been thinking I was done! I’m really a sitting duck, and I have no idea what they will decide, I feel my only option is to study, but pray they decide I’ve met the criteria. I have my 150 hours and my year of experience, is there another state I could apply in? Thanks!
