    Hey Jeff,

Did we ever come to a conclusion about the loophole where you go to apply for a section and the error message indicates if you passed or not?

For example, I am waiting on AUD, my last section, and when I go to apply to sit for re-examination, I get the following message:

We are sorry. Our system shows that you have already passed all parts of the Uniform CPA Examination. If you have questions, please call your Coordinator at the number given below. Please call the number below.

    800-CPA-EXAM

    615-880-4250

    Thanks.

I just tried and it let me go all the way to input of credit card for sections I've already passed – as well as audit which I'm waiting for. This is for MA.

stjohns796 – We are in the same situation. I am also waiting for my last section, audit. When I try to reapply I get the same message. I really hope this is right. I just find it very hard to believe that any system would show a message that says “Our system shows that you have already passed all parts of the Uniform CPA Examination” if we failed audit.

I think you guys are good to go. I remember from last window that not all states have this loophole, but some do. Which means NASBA has your scores and is just sitting on them and, most likely, will continue to do so for another day tomorrow until evening…

stjohns796 and sweetp7412 – what state are you guys in? I just tried to do this and it also let me through to where I would input my credit card information. I'm only waiting on REG to be done with the whole thing, and am in TN.

Indiana…i wouldn't think it would work for Reg yet since NASBA doesn't have the reg scores from the AICPA yet

tennCPA – I am in Georgia.

Forgot to add – I tried this before I got my FAR score back and it said something like “all sections not passed are pending”.

I'm in Missouri and get the following message….

“All or some sections of your Notice to Schedule (NTS) have been attended but scores have not been received.”

It sounds to me like I'll be in Wave 2.

zena, are you certain that not all states have that loophole?

The loophole was for certain states only, once the AICPA released the scores but prior to NASBA uploading the scores to the web, the system didn't let you apply for a new NTS.

okay thanks, so for the states not included in those certain states the system is still gonna let you apply for a new NTS even though you passed your last part? (after AICPA release before NASBA release)

I followed the loophole very closely last window.

The theory is that people who tried to re-register for their pending exam in GA, IN, MO, and OH were unable to if they passed. This worked when grades had been released to NASBA, but not yet released FROM NASBA. Those were the only states it worked for, but it definitely worked.

    Testing in TN (NASBA State)
    REG 74, 77; FAR 77; BEC 73, 73, 73, 80; AUD 40,78
    And I'm out...

Thanks MomCPA. It's good to know those states for sure.

I think that if you register for your exams through the following website, the loophole works:

    https://onlineapps2.nasba.org/candidate/entrance?set_theme=NASBA&site=CPA_OH

I tested the states that MomCPA indicated and all of the states she mentioned use this address to register (i.e. changed the OH to GA, IN, and MO) . I am in Michigan and our registration screen is completely different.

So I'm in Missouri and it lets me go to the screen where I can select Audit (my last section, other sections are grayed out) does that mean I failed? I did not try to go beyond that screen.
