Need advice for BEC study plan

So I have scheduled BEC for 05/29, which leaves me with roughly 6 weeks of study/review time. The last two times I took BEC, I got a 74 using Becker. I am using Becker this time too but was wondering if I should supplement the material with something else? I feel Becker had prepared me ok the last two times I got a 74 on BEC, just need that extra push. I feel Becker and the NINJA notes/audio should suffice. Thoughts?

It's worth a shot. I would think that by the 3rd time through the same Becker materials, it'd be hard to focus adequately when it all seems like a repeat…so I would think that adding something like NINJA would help. However, I might think about getting a month subscription to Blitz (maybe wait till your test is closer to 1 month out) instead of getting notes/audio, since my impression of Blitz is that it's kinda like audio but more thorough, and my impression is that you have more need of something fairly thorough than something glossing over the top. Then take your own notes from Blitz and use those in the same way that the NINJA notes are used.

Wiley Test Bank is also worth some serious consideration. I think it would provide more of a boost than the NINJA supplements, since it provides more new info, but it costs more too so not sure if it would be worth it to you, since you feel like Becker can get you pretty close.

    Good luck! 🙂

Thanks Lilla. How's WTB for BEC? I used it for FAR (with Becker) and I don't think it helped me much for my exam. Maybe coz my FAR mcqs were heavy on calculations and I didn't have much time to think. So I am at cross roads. Add Ninja notes/audio, blitz or WTB for BEC. Too many options aren't good. Lol

I see you took them in 2011, this material won't be that familiar. Stick with your guns and hit the books anew.

My plan is looking like this with CPA Excel),

Videos + proficiency questions (true/false) + the related multiple choice questions. + Flash cards every night

Hopefully get through everything in 4 weeks, and the last 2 weeks will be constant MCQ + rewriting jeff's ninja notes, and hopefully one time through Blitz/week.

    REG- (1) 76
    FAR- (2) 64, (5)74, (7)83 (Over achiever!)
    AUD- (3) 70, (4) 75
    BEC- (6) 75

@Cracked Sorry for the delay – pretty much am only able to get on here and write much over the weekend! I liked WTB for all the tests personally, but BEC is the one that I used it the least for because I'm a cheapskate and BEC was my first exam…so I used their 24 hour trial for a weekend a couple weeks before the exam and then about a week before it, I got the full version (the wait was so that I could maximize the testing windows in my 1-year subscription 😛 ) and used it for final prep. I thought that it helped me out a lot in preparing for the exam, but I didn't have a different test bank (aka Becker) so I'm not sure how useful it would be as an additional resource vs. simply on its own.

I'm retaking BEC 5/24 (expired test) using NINJA MCQ and the notes. Although I took BEC 2 years ago, I still remember the WTB answers so I decided to switch. I'm so glad I did because I think the NINJA MCQ is pretty cool!

    BEC-75(expired), 74 5/24/14
    REG-64
