Need Advice! Should I reschedule my exam?

Two spots just opened up to take my exam this Saturday instead of next Thursday. I finished all of the Becker material on Sunday and have been reviewing since. My first time through Becker, I scored above an 80% on probably 3/4 of the MCQs and I’ve done at least one progress test every single day since I started studying. Right now, I’m pretty much just going through Ninja MCQs and would take Thursday and Friday off to spend time on transaction cycles which is really the only section I have any issues with I have an 85% trending score on Ninja MCQ right now with about 400-500 of the questions completed and I supplemented the transaction cycles with all of the WTB questions (about 150 total). I’ve also done most of the sims in Becker and got most of them correct. The only reason why I’m worried is that if I fail this test, I lose credit for REG…so I could either be done or fail and go back to being halfway done.

Any advice? This is the only test I’ve sat for that I’ve even thought about moving it up.

Yikes. Nothing like knowing that you could possibly look back and say “what if….”

You're stuck in that spot where overstudying and stressing out could mean failure and that place where a few extra days could mean pass or fail.

You're scoring pretty high though and if you're willing to move it up then I would say mentally you are ready to take this thing.

But if you were to fail, what would you rather live with: that you studied that extra week and were mentally exhausted or that you went into it before you were mentally exhausted but not quite academically prepared. I would not want to be you. 🙂

Hopefully I'm not being a Debbie Downer because, by your scores, I think you'll pass, but erring on the side of caution, which “what if” is better for you to live with?

Good luck! Hope you rock it!

I think I'm at the point where I am just not mentally engaged with the material anymore. I've been in auditing for over three years now so a lot of this stuff has been a review for me, not to mention I passed this test with an 83 and lost credit for it. I haven't even had to memorize most of the material because I've been able to put myself in the scenario due to my job. My first time through the Becker material, I should add that I wasn't even referencing my book, it was all from memorization.

I think I'm going to grab the spot and focus on transaction cycles tomorrow and Thursday. I genuinely feel comfortable with everything else.
