    Hello ninjas.

I check out this forum everyday. I feel like no one I know really understands how difficult this exam is and how it takes a toll on my confidence. I took AUD for the third time on 7/7 and got my score at midnight and it was a 66. I’ve had a 61, 72, and 66 now. I feel like I could really pass this time but I guess I didn’t pull through. I’ve taken FAR twice and have gotten a 55 and 59.

I haven’t passed any sections yet and I’m feeling really discouraged. I have BEC scheduled for 8/31 but I feel like it’s not possible for me to pass the first try! I get distracted too easily when studying.

And the thought of all the money I’ve spent already is just ridiculous and depressing especially since I paid for Becker myself and I really wish I would have just gone with the NINJA products since Becker doesn’t really fit my learning style. I feel like I could be spending my time and money on something else. Need confidence!!! End rant.

I feel the same way! I am losing focus and confidence. I don't understand all the concepts right away and I don't do enough research/studying to make sure I understand. This is a tough exam for sure!

I just try to keep in mind that this is a marathon and if it's going to take 2,3,4 tries it has to be done!

    BEC 65, 71, 75
    AUD 62, 70, 78
    REG 67, 66, 65, 66, 64
    FAR 68, 64, 73

    BEC - 75 (3x)
    AUD - 78 (3x)
    REG - 67, 66, Aug 1
    FAR - 54, Sept 8

You need to change up your approach to studying as something obviously isn't working for you right now. If you think Becker doesn't suit you, then don't use it. I personally like the Becker lectures but hated the MCQs and SIMs. I spent no time doing Becker's final review stuff and still ended with good scores because I took an approach that made sense to me. There is no point in beating your head into the Becker material over and over again if you keep getting bad scores. Find an approach that makes studying easier and clearer for yourself.

For my final review, I would write out study guides for each chapter in excel. In the 3 days coming up to the exam, I would find areas that I was still confused about and hand write notes to these sections from my study guide. I found that writing the material really helped me understand stuff better than when I was just doing MCQs over and over again.

    FAR: 90
    AUD: 94
    REG: 84
    BEC: November 25th

Agree with TK6, change things up. This is risky, but maybe take a month off, just walk away and reset. Sounds like you haven't gotten through one yet so your clock hasn't started. Sit down with someone who has passed and talk through your study process, maybe they can ID holes and room for improvement.

@mbrefka – I hear you. Look at my score, got four 74's in a row. How miserable right? For my latest BEC exam, I focused on ninja notes, audio, ninja MCQ — got 77% average, ninja flashcards. My score jumped from 74 to 85! Do not give up. It can be done. See you on the other side later on. Ninja's are cheering for you.

I seriously took the exam 18 times. I had lots of scores in the 60's and maybe a score or two in the 50's.

This is what happened to me personally. I would schedule all four tests in one quarter because I was so worried about the 18 month rule. I always had a schedule for when I would get through the twenty chapters (I used Gleim…..it was okay not sure I would recommend it) But because I only gave myself 3 weeks to study each one I would constantly finish 12-15 chapters and just cram in one day on the last 5 chapters. YOU CANNOT CHEAT YOURSELF LIKE THAT. I really believe you won't pass if you don't study the whole book. You don't need to know everything but you need to have a general idea of everything.

So I took all four test once and failed them all. Then I took 3 tests the next quarter and failed them all. I took 2 months to study for Audit which seemed to be the perfect amount of time for me and got a 75. Then I took one test each quarter after that and failed 2 of the 3 (The common theme being that I didn't study all 20 chapters again) Unfortunately the test doesn't allow you to lie to yourself. I always thought I knew sections well enough it would make up for the ones I didnt. But it never did.

You definitly can do it. Don't lose your positive attitude but you must be real with yourself. I learned more about myself taking this test then any other thing i have done in life.

Create a study schedule , Follow it, get a 75 and repeat 3 more times.
