I have a question for the masses. I have taken BEC before, failed with a 74. I took the holidays off and have just finished back through the videos, but that took longer than I thought basically cause I should’ve never taken a break. Now I have two weeks to the day before testing.

I have the Ninja Notes, Audio and Wiley.

How would you spend your time studying? Appreciate any input. It’s been real tough getting back to studying how I did to pass the FAR & REG. Thanks!

Start hitting all sections on Wiley and focus on those you are scoring lowest in first. Do question after question while taking screenshots and writing notes of the ones you got wrong and why you missed them. Idea here is to correct your thinking.

Then move on, until you are scoring well in each section.

Good luck – you were almost there last time and BEC is easiest to retain (in my opinion!) It all comes down to logic.

    B 71 - 79 EXPIRED
    A 69 - 75 EXPIRED
    R 65 - 48 - 45
    F 56 - 61 - 65 - 64

I would suggest doing as many MCQs as you can until you're sick of them. Then do some more :).

I'd also definitely agree with @HustlinHustlin in terms of taking notes on the questions you get wrong. I usually don't do exactly that, but I'll go back into my Word file that contains all my book notes and add any new facts I discover while doing the MCQs.

I have yet to take REG, but out of the exams I have taken, BEC seemed the easiest (probably because there were no simulations). If you've passed FAR, I'm sure you'll nail BEC this time around. Good luck!

    FAR - 81 (07/24/2012)
    BEC - 92 (10/06/2012)
    AUD - 92 (11/29/2012)
    REG - 88 (02/28/2013)

    Ethics - 90

    California Licensed CPA - 12/2013
