    Hi … So I realize I really shouldn’t complain about Failing yet again but I feel like I won’t ever pass … Anyway Both times I failed audit its because of the SIMS… I obviously completely blew them up if I got a worse score this time.

    Who has the best SIMS to practice? I have Becker and Wiley …. I just bought NINJA MCQs and Notes … Will this help?

    I plan to retake in April …

    I got a 60 on Audit but I expected it. Actually, I expected worse. I used only Roger and I would say the test did not match with his MCQs and Sims very well. I did really well on his questions and understood them. The actual test was significantly different and did not test much on what Roger spent a lot of time on. The audit reports you have to know backward and forward; but the lectures kind of flew through them.

    I will probably go Ninja MCQs and perhaps audio then retest in the first week of April while it is still fresh.

    Just to check myself I went back and did a few Roger questions without even looking at any notes/text/lectures and I did well. It is probably the style of question that is throwing me. I thought I bombed (mid 40s score) but I guess the ones I flagged were pretest questions. I was confident I got 3 of the 7 Sims 100% right but the analysis says weaker in Sims so I was wrong.

    I did Roger CPA + Ninja MCQ for FAR. For Audit, I used Wiley + Ninja MCQ. In both cases, I completed the full review course before jumping in Ninja MCQ.

    IMO, Roger has the best lectures but his MCQs are severely lacking. His book is so so. If I didn't use Ninja MCQ I would not be adequately prepared. Wiley's book is frustrating but at least the content is there. Wiley's lectures are weak sauce so similarly to FAR, if I wouldn't use Ninja MCQ I would have hard time passing Aud. Now I am about to start studying for REG and decided to go with Ninja 10pt combo and disregarded anything else out there.

    I wouldn't stress about AUD SIMs and personally didn't spend much time on them at all (did only the ones in Wiley course just to get the feel). Didn't touch a single SIM in Ninja MCQ but did all of the MCQs. So my suggestion would be to understand the content from your respective study material (Wiley or Roger) and then hammer Ninja MCQs like no tomorrow. Try to get to the review stage with 85%+ trending score.

    I agree with czechchamp.

    I only studied with Becker but rose my score from a 68 to a 92 doing 2 things:

    1) Really understand the topic; when I went through the book, I took ample notes on the side to further understand the topic. If you're like me, I get bored easily so I try to trick myself that I love this topic and try to tie them all together for reinforcement.

    2) Use the AL during the exam. More often than not, you can find the information you need. You should practice using the AL when you get a chance.

    Good luck on your exam!

    AUD- 76 | Fail | 92
    REG- fail | 80
    BEC- 78 | 83
    FAR- fail | fail | fail | 77

    totally agree with need2studymore – learn how to use AL. If you get a SIM where you need to fill in blanks in a report, you can easily find that report in the AL and be sure you've got at least one of the tasks 100% correct. Obviously, it's less useless for some simulations, but generally a good idea to learn how to navigate it.

    AUD - passed
    REG - passed
    BEC - passed
    FAR - passed

    Dont study for sims because that is a waste of time, do more multiple choice and read the ninja book. You cannot study for sims in aud there's literally no way.

    Thanks Everyone … I did Use the AL for obv the research and one other one and pulled word for word out of there .. .The others I did not … Definitely going to use it this time … I am doing MCQs until my eyes fall out … Using Ninja Notes too … Those are awesome, used it on my 3rd Reg Test and passed with an 80 from a 70 … Hoping the same will happen here!

    @Brooke I would agree with the above. I found that the AL was the most helpful for Audit above the other sections. I didn't really use it my first few times besides the research like you said. I had the same problem with the sims, I just didn't do well on those. It could have been just luck on my 3rd audit exam but I found most of the sims at least large portions of them in the AL and I passed with an 86.

    I scored high 60's low 70's in audit and on my last attempt used nothing but NINJA MCQ and Audio. Increased score 16 points from previous exam.

    Texan_176,

    There is no way that you will pass Audit by only doing Roger test bank. His lectures are great,but he skips a lot of details and his test bank is just too easy. You have to supplement it with Ninja MC or Wiley.

    FAR= 72-84
    Audit= 73-82
    BEC= 74-75
    Reg=77
