I figured this would be a good place to ask this question. My employer is looking to possibly upgrade its accounting system. I work for a food manufacturer and we currently use a few different systems to manage data that eventually gets bundled into a main system to that spits out financial results.

Does anyone on this forum have any suggestions where to start looking. SAP, GP, etc. or if you work for a manufacturing company what does your company use?

Which one is best for you depends on a lot of factors like the size of the company, # of users, etc. I've used SAP and its ok, I use Visibility now and completely loathe it, and I actually kind of liked JD Edwards.

I used to work for a food manufacturing company and we used SAP–it handled all the transactions really well. I was part of the implementation team.
