So I have been studying FAR for like 3 weeks but I am still pretty slow and I am not able to get the material..

I only have 4 weeks left and I am not even half way done.

I am working full-time and I will be just so tired after and is super difficult for me to study.

The problem is that i cannot focus on the notes for a long time (I am using Wiley for my study)

some on give me a hand?? ><

Things have gotten a lot better for me now that I have finished getting through all the material once. I am studying for FAR as well and it will be my first exam section (taking it in a week), so take this with a grain of salt. It seems that going through the material for the first time, it is very easy to get “bogged down” on one little topic because you are wanting to make sure you completely understand all the little nuances. My approach after a few chapters of getting bogged down in FAR (probably around where you are now) was to make sure that I understood the big picture of the material. By doing this, during the review stage of studying you're able to just build small parts onto the foundation you already have. Trying to get everything down to the most random exceptions, etc. the first time around seemed near impossible to me, so this approach has been more productive (for me, anyway).

Like I said though, that's just the opinion of someone who hasn't taken a section yet. Good luck.

Yes, go through the material first just the get the big concepts.

Then cycle through for more detail, and repeat.

As you do so you will have a better idea where you stand.

You might need to give yourself some more time and/or get some different material (maybe lectures would be helpful for you?).

Do you have a test bank? If not, give Ninja MCQ a try, since it is quite affordable and sounds very well designed.

You will get it. It's just a matter of figuring out the best approach for YOU.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

The NINJA materials make the information easier to understand and the prices are SO reasonable. Test out of the Free NINJA material to see what you think.

It's easy to get frustrated with the volume of material for FAR – don't get frustrated. Kimboroni is correct, the biggest part is figuring out the best way for you to learn.

Then Cycle, rinse, repeat…..MCQ until you dream about MCQs.

As other have said, you may need more time to go through the materials once, and then to go back over it for more detailed information. I always felt overwhelmed the first time going through materials and usually went back through everything two or three times.

As far as going through Wiley books – maybe you need to change it up and go through sections at a time with breaks in-between. You could try different teaching materials, but you'll still have to learn the same things no matter which materials you use.

Have you checked out Jeff's ELL plan? I know it's helped others that work and take exams at the same time.
